BPSU WOMEN'S
COMMITTEE
The BPSU Women’s Committee is a Standing Committee established as per Article V – Organization; 2 (f) General Council of the Constitution of the Bermuda Public Services Union.
Women's Committee Chairperson: Sis. Christine Bogle-Mienzer
The purpose of the committee is:

To encourage women’s participation in Union activities, educate women on the trade union movement and encourage their involvement at all levels.

To foster communication, networking, and the dissemination of information directly relating to women.

To educate on health, economic, and social issues that impact women.

To encourage women’s participation in educational opportunities both locally and internationally.

To encourage and support a decent work agenda for women.

To promote and encourage women to run for elected Union office and support candidates.

To create mentorship opportunities by aligning young workers with experienced women unionists.

To organize an annual International Women’s Day event and other activities targeted towards women.
