COMMITTEE
The BPSU Bar Committee is a Standing Committee established as per Article V – Organization; 2 (f) General Council of the Constitution of the Bermuda Public Services Union.
Bar Committee Chairpersons: Bro. Armell Thomas/Sis. Nicole Young
The purpose of the Committee is:

To maintain the Members’ Bar and oversee the bar operations and activities.

To manage the stock and inventory of the bar and bar facilities;

To manage and direct bar staff, ensuring Training and Intervention Procedures (TIPS) certifications;

To ensure compliance with the Liquor License Act 1974 (and any subsequent amendments) at on-site and off-site events;

To direct and manage security at the Members’ Bar;
-
To manage revenue and expenditure of the bar in compliance with organizational financial standards.

To organize social activities of the bar and to support other committees who require bar services.
